The Jefferson Park Penguins had an easy time of it at the ballpark defeating
the reeling Enterprise Trekkers by a score of 9 to 4.

Jefferson Park came up with the deciding runs in the top of the 8th inning
scoring 3 runs. After an out was recorded, Moises Alou got things going when
he drew a walk. Manny Ramirez followed, but he was set down on strikes.
Javy Lopez then drew a walk. Adam Dunn followed and he was hit by a pitch.
Mike Cameron stepped into the box and doubled clearing all three ducks off
the pond. Jefferson Park managed only 5 on the afternoon.

Juan Rincon(7-3) went 1 and 1/3 innings allowing no runs for the win. Juan
Cruz(2-4) absorbed the loss in relief. He was knocked around pretty good,
giving up 3 runs in 2 and 1/3 innings.

Jefferson Park continued their winnings ways improving their record to a
division leading 44-29. They are 8-2 in their last ten games. Scott Leitner
was pretty down after the loss. 'We've really been sputtering along lately,
something like 2-8 in the last week or two. That won't get it done.'
